High current dc leads need to be in conduit

My inspector want to see the high current dc input leads in conduit. Is there a way to do that with the multiplus or quattro?

Not sure exactly what your inspector may be looking for. Or of the suggestion will meet regulation your side.

We use the split flexible stuff down to trunking and run it like that, or flexible the whole way depending on the install.

Thanks for your answer. However, is there a way to connect hard PVC conduit to the bottom of the inverter where the high current wires attach?

The Multi/Quatro requires the lower panel to slide down and away for maintenance so rigid conduit to the bottom of the panel wouldn't be possible. It would need to be flexible conduit and even that would be a royal pain. Not sure if the MP II line has this same requirement.

I would enclose the bottom of the inverter in a raceway that covers all wiring. Of course, you'd need to provide a ventilation path through the raceway to the bottom of the Multi/Quatro.

You can install hard conduit on the Multiplus-II, the way the cover comes off does not interfere with it, if you leave enough space before your trunking.
