Connection of the AC PV inverter to MultiPlus-II 48/5000

Hi, I have a MultiPlus-II 48/5000 for battery charging. The AC IN is connected to the diesel generator and now I have to connect the AC PV inverter. I need to charge the battery and supply the load. Can I connect the AC PV inverter on AC OUT 2 for battery charging?

If you do connect this grid tie to the AC1 or AC2 out then you MUST use assistants in the multiplus II to control the grid tie inverter and the grid tie unit must not be larger than 5000

I would connect it to the AC1 out

Yes you can, but the ideal would be to connect it with teh AC out 1 so in case you have a generator failure, your PV Inverter still charges the abtteries as it is kept on by the batteries.
