Yes I would think they could be different, just means that the internal resistances of the batteries are not the same I would think

you have connected the two in parallel correctly as per the picture Beow ???

Both Pos and Neg Cables should NOT be connected to the same battery but as per the diagram below.

If Not then please reconnect them this way as below and see if that helps with the difference

Just as your picture yes. Nothing wrong with the instelation. I thought of working the bank that uses less amps more so that they can be the same as the other bank. Something like running in a new engine. Perhaps.
