How to reset pin codes

I have just purchased a used RV with the devices below. I loaded the app and tried '000000', did not work. Read the manuals and couldn't find where to reset pin number. Also no button on Smart Dongle.

BMV-712 Smart

SmartSolar MPPT 150/100 Controller

VE.Bus Smart dongle

MPPT Controllers
2 |3000

Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 190.8 MiB each and 286.6 MiB total.

On the device list, tap on the 3 dots. You need the PUK code (which should be on a label on the device).

Do I need to connect to all the devices I see in the app or just the BMV - 712?

You need to reset the PIN code for each device.

Each has a different PUK code and each can have a different PIN.

Yea, I get that. Is the reason to connect to the controller and dongle is to do firmware updates? Any data available I would need to see? Is the 712 the 'View' and configuration of the system?

Not just for updates. Also if you want to see and possibly change the settings.

BMV is just the shunt (with a display attached).

The "brain" of a Victron system is a GX device (which apparently you do not have - but that is not unusual for small systems).

Found them, Thanks. What if the PUK / SN tags had been removed/damaged?

Either ask the seller for the PIN codes (so then you do not need the PUK codes, unless you later forget the PIN) or contact Victron.

One warning which might be needed.

If you get to the settings, make sure you DO NOT disable the Bluetooth.

You can't enable it back using the phone and you won't be able to access the device from the phone anymore.

And in general, do not change any settings until you learn about them.

Got it, thanks. Found a third device, MultiPlus 12 /3000/120. It took the dongle PUK.
