AC2 is the usual input for the generator unless you are offgrid. If you have a GX device make sure it is assigned that way.
The only 'surprise' we had was from dead battery (black start) we could not recover/wake up the system through AC2 charging with the generator. It does from AC1.
Using AC2 in is great though as there are quite a few assistants that can be programmed for the generator. Manual start is also fine.
Would also like to add in case you haven't done so, that you will have to alter ac input current within the Genset current limits. Enable Dynamic Current limiter and probably AC Weak grid.
Except we're currently unable to confirm that dynamic current limiter actually works:
Dynamic Current Limiter does not work in an ESS system, but in other systems (off-grid usually) it does work. Note that it is really meant for small inverter-type (variable speed) generators.
