Intermittent “Low Battery on VE.Bus warnings” from Off Grid Multiplus II

Intermittent “Low Battery on VE.Bus warnings” from Off Grid Multiplus II.

All other devices show normal battery voltages on VRM and all connections are physically good. Any ideas?

Hi

A few questions:

  1. What battery is it and have you set the battery settings as per the manufacturers recommendations?
  2. Is the battery sized correctly for the inverters load?
  3. Do you sometimes get DC ripple errors at the same time?

Guy answered this problem in another post, here is his correct answer:


“Use Remote VE.Configure to download the configuration file from the MultiPlus-II and set the DC input Low Pre-Alarm in the Inverter tab to below 47V Then send it back to the unit.

This will stop the alarm.“

...and it did!
