Victron Phoenix Inverter Compact (VE.Bus - old microprocessor, 230VAC) and VE.Bus Smart dongle

I'll keep this short. My Victron Phoenix Inverter Compact 12 | 2000 230V (an old microprocessor 230VAC inverter on firmware 1908209) is not compatible with the VE.Bus Smart Dongle and will never be, corrrect?

Minimum FW is 415. https://www.victronenergy.com/live/vebus_smart_dongle_manual
For the old 19.... models the latest FW is 209 and this is almost 5 years old.
Newer FWs don't fit into the old processors, so there will never be an update to make the dongle compatible.

Thanks. That was my initial conclusion, but thought I would check here.
