What settings in the app should I set to never pull power from my main engine battery?

I want to make sure my Orion-Tr-Smart Isolated DC/DC Charger 12 1 12 - 30 charger never drains power from my main engine battery. I believe everything is wired correctly. What settings within the app on my phone should I check to confirm. Thanks for any information you can provide.

I guess you want it to charge the auxiliary battery if the engine is running, right? "never drains power" sounds like you want it to never function at all.

Theres an engine shutdown section in the settings. For me it worked with the factory settings, but maybe you need to finetune them a bit for your exact alternator. This function lets the orion only charge the aux battery if the engine was detected as running.

You can also use the H and L connections, theres a sections explaining their use in the manual

Thanks so much. I’ll check those out. I asked because when I first got it installed by a van builder company it originally drained my engine battery. They forgot to set something…not sure what. Maybe it was power supply mode instead of charge mode. Thanks again.
