As we see on VRM more and more the forecasting of solar and consumption, so why not predict when to start and stop the generator ?
Assume you have an automatic generator start condition set according to SOC. When SOC is lower than %20 the generator should start. That's fine , however what happens, when the generator was started just as the sun started rising ? In this case a clever forecasting algortihm could stop the generator earlier than usual and save a lot of fuel ?
Is this already possible ? If not, how nice such feature would be :)
