The thought that comes to mind is the power to the GX and/or the WiFi Router is connected to the LOAD output of a solar controller and that is configured to be active only when there is a PV voltage present.

Thanks for answering David. I will look into that. Excuse me for asking silly questions, but I am not super versed in this stuff. Should the power source be hooked directly to the batteries? And not to my main battery terminal hub?

Where is the Cerbo powered from? Best practice is to power it directly from the battery as David suspects it loses power if connected to e.g. a MPPT load side.

Unless there are diodes involved for some unknown reason, the entire "load" side of the system is basically a common positive/negative rail straight to the battery, no? This answer doesn't make much sense to me.

I changed the hookups going straight to the batteries now. So here’s 2 things I have for y’all. So my system is in my garage. My garage is not attached to my house, I have a Wi-Fi booster/extender on the outside of my house facing the garage. Normally, I have absolutely no issues with this with my TV that I have out there which I have Roku on, as well as my phones, however, when I close my garage door, which is thin aluminum, I lose signal. Then the only way to reconnect to the Wi-Fi I have to unplug the power source from the Cerbo GX And then it will reconnecttothe Wi-Fi rinse and repeat every day. I understand that I need to do some thing about keeping the Wi-Fi connected, but why do I need to disconnect the power from the Cerbo GX every time in order for it to reset?

Theres “Reboot device when no contact” option in the GX device's VRM menu

(Cant add a screenshot since my GX has no connection, oh the irony)
