What settings are required for Quattro with ccgx and pylontech

Good day

When setting up a Quattro with an ccgx and pylontech us3000's what settings need to be changed on the Quattro except for the basic voltage settings ?

This system will be off-grid and power will be supplied with 2 250/100 mppt's that are connected to the ccgx with Ve.direct and Dvcc will be set up. There will be 8 us3000's with one Quattro 48/10000.

Hi @Nico45

Did you read this page?

https://www.victronenergy.com/live/battery_compatibility:pylontech_phantom

If there is anything missing there, please mention it and so can add more information.

Hi @Daniël Boekel (Victron Energy Staff)

Yes I did read the page. When the battery type is selected as lithium iron phosphate in VE configure it says that an assistant is required. Is it required to set up an assistant or not and if required what assistant must be used as under lithium only Two signal bms support and VE.Bus bms assistants are shown ?

Hi @Nico45

Good catch: you don't need assistants for off-grid use, enable DVCC in the GX device and your good to go.

Please test if the inverter shuts down when communication with the battery is lost: if you pull the CANbus cable, after about 4 minutes the inverter should stop.
