AC current sensor

Can the AC current sensor be used simply to measure the current being drawn on my AC Bus(es)? The manuals imply it is for other specific use with solar controllers and inverters.

I have a CERBO GX. Would it display there?

Hi can you please clarify? Use sensor as external on Quatro/Multi?....
