Hi,
I want to use the Phoenix Smart Charger IP43 30A 1+1 to charge the service battery and the trickle charge to keep up the engine battery.
I have common mass and grounding between the two batteries, but I see the Phoenix has a separate negative wire for the trickle charge, with a very small wire section.
1) is the negative of the trickle same that the negative of the main load?
2) do I risk to create a mass loops with 30A splitting 50/50% between load negative (big bulky wire) and the trickle negative (small wire) with potential hazard?
