I am installing the MPPT 100/50 in my RV. Is any using a Ground Fault Protection Device with their MPPT controller? I understand it is a NEC requirement but is it necessary on a small system. I have 480 watts on my roof.
If you have, what did you use and how did you wire it?

I recommend contacting a local installer (Australia, right?) to hear about the local regulations.
Under current Australian Standards (AS 5033-2015 3.4.1) ground fault alarms and protection are not required as long as the voltages remain under the Extra Low Voltage (ELV) threshold of 120V nominal DC (140V DC peak).
This is typically up to 3 x 60 cell panels on a 150V MPPT and 2 x 60 cell panels on a 100V MPPT.
