Hello,
state of charge is toggling between the BMS value and 100%. Battery is never loaded with more than 500W and stays in absorption and does not go to Bulk.
Controlling system is BMS. What can be the problem here? Thanks

It is a seplos bms in a 16s configuration. Value readout from the Battery display and what I see in Venus system is matching.
I have now disabled "Enable battey monitor" in the VE configure to only rely on the BMS.
At the moment im discharging, and Cell Voltage is all around 3,26V at 39% SOC. This seems plausible.
In the picture above it was at 46% at 3,45V per cell when loading.
I dont know if this is plausible for a LiFePo cell. If so, then the default value setting of 54V might be not good. If not normal then the calculated SOC from the BMS might be wrong?
system setup > system status > synchronize VE.Bus SoC with battery > on.
The ve bus SOC synchronises with the BMS SOC @schwuppe so disabling it is a little redundant.
If you have never fully charged your battery, the BMS maybe does not know what is 100%.
Agree, 55+ typically 16S LFP is pretty full if maintained for longer time. But try to charge at least once to 56V and reset SOC in your BMS...
In your seplos settings you can set your max voltage where the BMS will reset to 100%
Im loading now for a while but battery current is never above 10A, even at 52V.
The limits from the battery are ok
If I look into the Victron menu I see higher voltage.
Measuring at the outlet of the battery it gives me 55.2V.
There is a power drop of measured 1.3 to 1.4V in the BMS on the + Side from Terminal to last Battery.
@schwuppe Look at Andy's videos. Some info about Seplos BMS there.
