Perhaps share your array and battery details, and some one can help.
I'm having difficulties with it too. It seemed to be working a few weeks ago?
I've entered data for a very simple 6 panel (3 in series, two strings setup) of 445W aiko panels. The calculator wants me to buy a 150/85 for this! The short circuit current is just 13.6 amps. I certainly don't need the 85 amps the suggested model allows for: my max amps should be under 28! The 150/35 should be perfect.
I've read a few complaints about the calculator being weird: should I give up on it, or is this something I'm doing wrong?
@Malk @24V system voltage it looks correct , TCVOC (Australia)
Bear in mind that the 85A spec of the MPPT is on the battery side, not on the PV side. Your panels will produce a max power of 6 x 445 = 2670w and so, assuming 100% efficiency for a moment, that needs 222.5A at 12V or 111.25A at 24V or 55.625A at 48V.
Can you please share some more details?
You can also share your configuration of the calculator.
