Systemproblem MP2, since 2019, to create a half island

Good day to everyone.
first I wish all present (woman or man) all the best for 2024

I have a very big problem with my system, which I have since 2019,
and consists of the following parts:
Since then I have not succeeded, with many help ( from outside and from this
Blog) to configure a half island.
The half island that does or must do the following:
When I cook or make coffee at noon, the power should come from my battery.
PV needs to charge the battery.
And when it’s dark, the charge of the battery, if necessary, should be
Net come.

Mp2 3000W, 35A, 48 V ( January 2023 new equipment received)
MPP 250V, 70A, 48 V
CCGX with latest software, guild also for the other devices.
Battery Balancer
External meters EM24
PV 6,0 kW, BMV 700 (not yet connected)
4 x 200 Ah + 4 x 100 Ah lead gel, 2 (4 x 12 V switched) 48 V

This should not be a problem with the listed equipment. All you need to do is to program the inverter to "ignore ac in" in the virtual switch tab of the VE configure program. You will also need a Mk3 to connect the inverter to a pc.

Hi Mike, I did do - ignore ac in - Results: Put on my caffeemashine, after

40 sec. the mp2 goes to Off and after 3 sec it started on ON.

How can I make my Power higher for this solution?

My first observation is that you have a mixed bank of batteries, which is not ideal and may result is voltage issues when the bank is under load. Secondly the MPII 3kVA is only 2400W so depending on the limit you specified with AC ignore, the inverter may overload before trying to switch so set it at maybe 2000W to switch earlier. What is the load that the coffee maker / cooker draws? You may also find the quality of the AC e.g. ripple may cause it to take a bit of time to sync which could also result in the outcome you describe. I'd also suggest to obtain a realtime view of the voltage drop under these loads (VRM at best capture at 1min intervals) and then analyse this against the inverter settings, SOC of the battery bank when it happens as well as voltage drop of the bank under load. I suspect you may have heard all this all before and may then alternatively consider and ESS implementation depending on the regulations where you are.

As noted below you have a mix of batteries. Also the batteries are now 5 years old, and possibly past their best. Checking the voltage on discharge is good thing to do with a heavy load, also check on the power demand settings, i.e. grid on above 1500W/20 sec? and the power assist setting. It's not clear from the above if the MP2 goes off then on again after 3 sec? This could be due to an excessive battery voltage drop.

Hello helping people,

I know about my battery, therefor I look for a solution, in these situation, or

folowing posible is:

My battery should be emptied up to 50% from consumers, without mains assistance,
it can be charged with solar.

If the 50% is exceeded, the battery should be connected to the mains
or solar charging. 

Nevertheless, the current power requirement, from consumers,
during loading, are allowed.

I just solved a big problem, and my MP2 was spinning,

because the Mp2 did not find my ( RS ) EM24, and immediately switched on to

Mr Lange has - here - posted that the plugs for 1 minute

should be pulled, and then the Mp2 finds the EM24.

not right away because a bug was found.

With the aim on Usb extensions, I had a mechanical Usbhub - built in.

I removed the usbhub, and Mr Lange repeated the procedure, and the Mp2

found my EM24.

Because this communication is too long, I open a new blog and thank you
me for their help.
