Using Temp Sensor non Battery Question

Using the ASS000001000 Temp. Sensor for Quattro, MulitPlus & GX Device with my cerbo monitoring temp of my HW compartment, black water tank compartment, under my sink and main cabin.

Can I just have the remote end exposed to air or does it need to be attached to something metal or plastic to get correct data ?

I have VRM and Cerbo set to F do I still need to set temp sensors with an offset? seems to always be in the 50 f range

how far can I extend the sensor?

On Cerbo does red face out and black in markings are unclear?

How do I get sensors to show temps in the tanks column on the Mobile Overview page

Hi,

The metallic end does not need any contact.

50F seems ok. =10°C

Temp in Tank view is not implemented.

In VRM Portal view you will see it on right side.

I would not too much extend. Use the ruuvi sensor for humidity and temp if you would like to be cable free.

Effect of sun shining on the RV warming it up a bit more than the air temperature.
