Raspberry PI with Touchscreen as Monitor for another Raspberry

Hello,


i have a raspberry pi 4 running venus and getting all data i need.

now i would like to add a touschreen but at an other location.

I have a raspberry pi 3b with 7" touchscreen.


Can i use the rasp 3b only as a display and let the rasp4 do all other?

Hi @wasn

This is achievable using https://github.com/guysoft/FullPageOS on the pi3

And just connecting to Pi 4 running venus os via web interface?

But then i still See the Software Buttons on the right site.

Or is there a Mode to See only the screen?

You can use kiosk mode, take a look at this thread

That leads me in the right direction.

I have changed the framebuffer Resolution in /u-boot/config to 800x480


Then copied the webpage to /var/www/fullpage

Here used the styles.css from the mentioned Post and edited it with these changes


Background to #202020

No round edges

Deleted borders

Canvas size to 800x480


Now the 7" touchscreen Shows it Real fullscreen
