Blue Solar MPPT 150/45 Error Battery High Voltage

Hi,

I have a Cerbo GX connected to a Hubble Cloudlink. Also connected is an MPPT 150/45 and a smart Shunt. All devices show up in the Cerbo GX. I have 3 x 330watt solar panels connected to the MPPT. When I connect the solar panels I get an error. #2 Battery High voltage. On the Cerbo GX I have DVCC se to Forced on as per documentation from Hubble. Can somebody please help on why am I getting a battery High Voltage error.

@janlerouxrsa

Is it on the latest firmware or was it at least uodated on install? Has the blue solar been programmed?

If not that is likely the cause.

Particularly if the system voltage was auto detected then not actually set after.

Hi, I'm not sure if the latest firmware is installed.I have not configured the MTTP before. I had tested it on another battery before with a 24V voltage. Are there any way to configure the MTTP via the Cerbo as the site is very remote.

Interesting! You're having a similar problem to me - https://community.victronenergy.com/questions/222228/error2-bluesolar.html

I wonder which firmware you're running?

The MPPT will have chosen 24V then so you need to change it to 48V.

You can use the victron connect app, via VRM to access the MPPT settings, so you can properly configure it.

Ah, maybe my problem is a little different - mine have only ever seen 48V packs.1691075570463.png

OK my issue is resolved. The battery voltage was set to 24V. It kept the setting from the previous time I connected. I configured the bulk and float voltage also manually. All is working great now.
