PV input voltage in Charge controller is 0 volt.

I installed 4 victron charge controllers 250/100, 2 quattros and 3 lithium ion phosphate battery 10.3 kWh.

--> while the CC were charging the batteries I flip up the 250 A DC breaker of the inverter, the discharged capacitors inside the inverter causes the battery to switch off and than switch on. This also causes the controllers to stop producing, after a while two charge controllers start producing and the other two still not producing.

With a multitester, I check the pv output voltage when the CC PV breaker is off, voltage is 202.

And than when the breaker is on, the voltage reading is 0 volts.

3 strings of 5 solar panels in series.

VOC: 46.38 VOLTS

VOC correction: - 0.330 %V/ ⁰C

Lowest record temperature in "Bayonnais Haiti" is 10 ⁰ C

So Voc would be:

tempDiff= 10 -25 = -15

-15 × (-0.33 × 0.01 x 46.38) = 2.2853

Voc= 48.6758 Volts

String Voc = 5 × 48.6758 = 243.37 VOLTS

Please check if the PV short protection is activated? You can reset it using this procedure: https://www.victronenergy.com/live/mppt_pv_short_relay_reset

Thank you niels-mobers for your answer!!

--> Was the inverter switched on when you connected it? Yes

-->first connect the battery to the inverter, then switch on the inverter : this what I did, the switch in the front of the inverter was in the off position and than I turned on the inverter DC breaker (midnite 250 A).

--> A PV charger only has PV input and battery output: sure, when I said PV output voltage I am refering to the PV array as the source. PV output voltage is the PV input for the charge controller.

At this time string open circuit voltage was: 207 volts.

I have 3 strings of 5 solar panels in series.

JA SOLAR PANEL 325 W

Voc = 46.38 Volts

Voc Correcrion % is : - 0.330 % V / ⁰C

Record low temp in my location is: 15⁰C

Vadjust = 46.38 + 46.38 [(15-25)(-0.33 × 0.01)] = 239.55 Volts

And again, thank you for your answer!!

Vadjust = 46.38 + 46.38 [(15-25)(-0.33 × 0.01)] = 239.55 Volts

Your result is correct for string Voc, but you are mising the "x5" in the formula:

Vadjust = {46.38 + 46.38 [(15-25)(-0.33 × 0.01)]} x 5 = 239.55 Volts

No. I did not mean the inverter DC breaker, but the inverter itself. Turn that off first, then connect the battery to the inverter (including DC breakers) and only then switch the inverter on using the power switch.

There is no error in the VictronConnect app.

Was the inverter switched on when you connected it? It yes, then next time: first connect the battery to the inverter, then switch on the inverter.

What is the "PV output voltage"? A PV charger only has PV input and battery output.

If the PV voltage is 0 volts, then + and - are connected/grounded, see niels-mobers's answer
