Older Victron Multiplus Compact 24/2000/50-30

Customer has an older invertor, around 2010/11, before I go over is it possible to establish if it can be upgraded to work with GX devices? Couple pics attached...

Is the number on the chip the firmware put in during production?img-20230614-150445.jpgimg-20230614-150445.jpg(2.6 MiB)img-20230614-145756.jpg

Must have read that 3 times, no idea how I missed it. But, thanks, so I am in luck and should be OK...

Done a bit more digging, am I correct in thinking that this multiplus is using the older VE.9Bit prfotocol and therefore will not communicate with a Cerbo?

Can anyone confirm?

Thanks,

Simon...

https://www.victronenergy.com/upload/documents/manual-VE.Bus-firmware-versions-explained-EN.pdf

1918132 = VE.bus, old microprocessor, 230V AC
currently, it has 132 which is firmware with the virtual switch, not the assistants.
You might need to use VE.Flash to update the unit. For Cerbo usage it probably will work fine, but I would recommend updating anyway.
For ESS it might work, but you need to run the assistants firmware. I'm not sure if there are limitations in regards to assistents in older microprocessor.

Most important is that it does have VE.Bus so should work with the Cerbo.
