BlueSolar 100/50 not connectting with VE.Direct bluetooth smart dongle

I have a bluesolar 100/50 inside a easysolar 12/1600 which I have connected a VE.direct dongle to the VE.direct port of the bluesolar. I can connect to the dongle via victron connect but am not seeing the blue solar. I have both blue and red leds slow blinking and according to the dongle manual, this is a VE.direct commuication problem. I've tried cycling power to the blue solar, but still same error. Can anyone give advice on this matter, please?

@KGB other than the plug not being fully seated in the socket, check that none of the pins is bent in the socket.

Another thing to check is if 1 of the metal contacts in the plug isnt fully inserted in the plastic plug.

Hi Klim8skeptic, We were trying to get it working inside a shed. With no success. Move the truck carry solar panels outside the shed into the sun. And bingo everything start to work as it should.
