BlueSolar MPPT 100/50 panel configuration recommendation

Dear all,

Let's make some assumptions:

Controller - BlueSolar MPPT 100/50

PV Pannels - 4x 380W

System voltage - 24V

Battery - 2x Lead Carbon 160ah

2kW inverter 24V

I will appreciate any assistance in order the understand the difference/benefit/effectiveness between 4x parallel connected panels vs 2s2p in term of stability and usefulness of the system.

The purpose of the system is to use the excess energy during the day. The load could be up to 1kW

@Andrey Karadimov run your panels through the Victron online MPPT calculator. and check.

depends on how far your panels are from your solar charger a 2s2p with higher voltage will need smaller cable diameter and possible more distance without too much losses.

also with 4x380W = 1520W is just over the 1400W the MPPT 100/50 is able to take, meaning your MPPT will operate at its upper limits......
