Today I have a question about the maximum battery charge on the Multiplus. I am currently using a Multiplus II 48/5000 and a SmartSolar MPPT RS 450/100. As a battery, I use two DLG Pytes, each with 5.12 kWh, a total of 10.24 kWh. As far as I know, the Multiplus can charge with 70 Ah and the SmartSolar with 100 Ah.
In the MPPT I set the maximum battery charge to 70 Ah. This results in a maximum of 70 Ah x 56 volts = 3,920 watts, which the Multiplus can convert and feed into the grid.
On the other hand, if I change the battery charge on the MPPT to 77 Ah, the Multiplus converts 4,312 watts. As I understand it, the Multiplus cannot do more than 70 Ah. Or can it only discharge 70 Ah from the battery? So I could also set the MPPT to 80 or 100 Ah. I just don't want the Multiplus to be damaged due to overload.
