I have set the Minimum SoC to 90%
But now when my battery is at 90% then my MPPT is producing no Solar
If now reduce my Minimum Soc to 80% then the battery will start discharging and also i am producing Solar
My question is why was i not producing any Solar when minimum SoC was at 90%, surely it should have produced solar to
-increase battery to 100%
-produce for my current AC loads
-produce to export to the grid?
Not a lot to go on.
How new is the environment. Is it off-grid?
It is pretty normal for pylons, especially when new, not to get to full charge due to balancing.
If your system is setup correctly, the battery will tell the chargers what to do. If mppt's shut off it is most likely because the BMS has lowered it's limits.

Yeh it is a new system
I could see the point of hutting the mppt off if it was excluivly being sent to the battery but dont see the logic if that power could be exported or used for ac loads.
I am now thinking tho, does the mppt send the power to batteries before it goes for ac loads or export?
Presume you have ESS configured?
Does your console show an ESS state code like #1?
If you hit 90% ESS will not usually turn off until you charge to 95%, at this time PV is only used to charge and grid for loads.
Since the batts are new and won't charge to 95% no solar will go to loads.
You need to follow the pylon advice and leave (assuming grid-attached) the ESS mode to keep charged for a few days so the batteries can balance.
Also make sure you have not set a lower charge voltage in DVCC.
i changed SoC limit to 80% and all worked well, i am now changing it back to 90% (currently 82)
I will let you know if ESS #1 shows when i hit 90% currently it is charging.
I am also looking at the DVCC setting
Maximum charge voltage is 51.8V
In the Pylontech battery parameters page
Charge Voltage Limit (CVL) 53.2V
Should i change DVCC max from 51.8 to 53.2?
There should be nothing set in DVCC, it is not for that purpose and will prevent the battery charging. This step is not documented in the pylon guide and the DVCC manual is quite specific about it's use.
Disable that limit completely.
Everything a pylon needs is automatically set in DVCC, no user intervention needed unless there are balancing issues, and that is temporary.
And disable max charge voltage.
The bms controls these parameters.

My DVCC looks like that apart from i do not have a SCS setting
Batteries are now at 91% now but now only 1 of my 3 strings seems to be producing solar and that seems very limited to what i was producing earlier.
ESS #1 is now showing
Voltage is also showing 52.32V
