MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-50 2X120V convert to 24 volts

I really want to switch to 24 volts but obviously would like to keep my current MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-50 2X120v. Everything about it seems to be the same as a 24/3000/70-50 2X120V so it seems it could be changed via software? Any other thoughts on how to switch to 24v without buying new equipment?

thanks

Multiplus-II

You cannot change a 12v inverters into a 24v. Though these units are designed to operate in a fairly wide range of voltage, this cannot be done. There are many differences between the internal components of 12 vs 24 units.

Like, for example:

1) Transformer winding ratio

2) Rating of switching Mosfets,

3) All of the voltage / current measuring circuits...
