how long is the cable that you are using from the inverter to the MK3,
try a shorter cable ie under 5 mtrs
I am having the same issue with my new laptop. I have tried different MK3s, different cables and still not picking up a com port. When I try on my old laptop works fine. Is there nothing else I can do? And I also uninstalled and reinstalled all software with the USB drivers on VE Config.
