Tank Level Monitoring Raspberry Pi?

I am looking for a simple solution to run 2 KUS tank monitors with the Raspberry Pi Venus OS.

What is everyone else using?

Thanks!

Hydrostatic tanksensor 0-1m and I2C interface with a ADS1115

You could use them probably with a Victron USB tank interface too (current loop 4...20mA, 12V), very precise, +/- 1 liter on a 600l fresh water tankimg-20220522-095332.jpg

Is the current loop always 4-20 or does it need to be adjusted.

I have the tank 140 connected to my lpg tank and water tank.

There are 2 "standards", 0-20mA and 4-20mA. If you overload a sensor it may show more than 20mA, but usually the range is 4-20mA.

Thanks for your reply. Do you mean voltage overload a sensor? Would the Tank GX protect the sensor or is it likely damaged?

The USB connected Tank GX will work just fine, it is designed to work with all kind of sensors (current loop, voltage, resistive sensors)

GX tank 140 does not work with resistive sensors, only Voltage and current will work.
