Multiplus and Multiplus 2 compatibility

Can you parallel up similar size Multiplus and Multiplus 2 devices - single phase ?

No only a multipus to a multiplus

or a multiplus II to a Multiplus II

Hi Merle,

All units in a parallel or 3 phase system must be the same type and firmware version, this includes same size, system voltage, and feature set.

The type is indicated by the first four digits of the firmware version number. For details, see the “VE.Bus Firmware Numbering System” section in the VE.Bus Firmware versions explained document.

You cannot parallel a Multiplus with a Multiplus-II. Please read this manual for further conditions:

Might be the same answer but not looking at 3 phase though but doubling up capacity
