MultiPlus 12/800/35

Hello,

would like to ask if victron multiplus 12/800/35 is good for charging lifepo4 batteries? Till now I had agm batteries but i would like to change. 95% of the time I charge batteries from solar and an alternator (dc-dc charger from victron). But from time to time I plug in.

Many thanks!

You have used Victron Connect before?

Open it up, click on the 3 bars at top left, choose demo library, pick your inverter charger.

Test drive the settings.

is this what I would need to set settings to lifepo4?

A Mk3 is probably the easiest option.

You could perhaps use a GX device (or a Raspi) to control stuff.

In all reality, you will initially need a Mk3 to update your multi, to a firmware version that a GX device can configure / control.
