Is there a way to extend the Bluetooth range?

You can buy range extenders or transmitter/receivers. Look for Bluetooth 4 or 5.

But what is the problem? If it's inside something with metal walls like a boat, might not work.

Thanks for your response … yes it is in a boat and the bluetooth range is not great. Was trying to see what others have done.

Hi, Did u find an extender ?

I have my smart shunt connected to my solar setup in my carport. My work desk is 6 metres from the gear and no walls interfering and cannot connect . I can move to my door, 5 metres from shunt and works but of course that's bloody annoying...

I'm yet another person checking in to see if any of you have found a Bluetooth extender from Amazon that works with multiple Victron devices.

I can think of 3 options. Some people use generic active Bluetooth extenders (they are typically wires with powered chips with max distances of about 20m). Second option is AV radios, wired or wireless typically with an Ethernet cable between two radios. These can cover 40m. Third option is "long range" dongles that claim distances of about 60m. Amazon has all these options. You will find some of them on this forum.
