Is it possible to switch a Victron Multiplus-II 48/8000 in 3 phase? (3x Victron Multiplus-II 48/8000)
for the 3000 and 5000 models this is possible, but for the 8000 I can't find the right info.

From a product specialist, (Question posed by email to Victon support) (Stroomwinkel.nl)
I got the following answer:
(Answer in Dutch below)
Dear Alex
Unfortunately, you cannot use the 8 and 10k in parallel or in 3 phase.
Victron has opted for a certain internal structure (hardware), which unfortunately means that this is not possible.
We as Stroomwinkel also hope that this will become possible in the future.
However, you can use the old familiar Quattro type for 3 phase or parallel operation.
If you have any questions, we would like to hear from you.
Beste Alex
Unfortunately, it is not yet clear to me whether the Multiplus-II 48/8000 can be put in 3 phase.
Is there anyone who has official documentation on this that can clarify this?
The datasheet says:
VE.Bus communication port:
For parallel (not for 8k and 10k models) and three phase operation, remote monitoring and system integration.
For me that means three phase is possible but parallel not.
I inquired again via email.
Now I got the following response from a System Engineer:
Best,
I just checked with Victron:
At the moment the 3-Phase function is not a problem, this is possible.
Parallel is not possible at the moment, but should be possible in the future.
This corresponds to your answers.
3 phase for the Multiplus-II 48/8000 is therefore possible.
Parallel switching not yet.
Thanks for your input.
Just be careful about "parallel should be possible in the future" -- it's not clear whether this means "possible with MP-II as sold today by updating firmware" or "possible with future MP-II hardware revision". Victron need to say which is the case, the difference is crucial for anyone buying an MP-II today who might want to add parallel units in future.
