I have a Blue Smart IP22 24V 8A charger. I have a 24V AGM battery 145AH. Starter battery for a bow thruster. Main purpose of the charger is to keep battery charged when unattended over winter. Specs for charger state maximum recommended battery AH 80. Can I still use this charger for this battery, even though the charge rate would be low?
In your use case where the charger is performing a maintenance charge and you don't really care how long it takes to charge up, it would work fine.
