48v to 12v Charge through MPPT

I ordered a 100/20 48v Victron MPPT and want to connect a 48v 22ah LifePO4 battery to the PV input and then a 12v 232ah Lead Acid battery to the output. Is this possible? I'm assuming the PV input will only pull what the 12v can take, which is 290 Watts?

Thanks,

Hi @Johnny Velasquez

Please beware: this is an unsupported use case, so please be careful!

At least you need a fuse between the source (battery) and the MPPT input, not bigger than the highest allowed input current stated in the manual!
(and of course a fuse at the output battery also)

Completely understand. I will be using a 20amp circuit breaker coming out of the PV input for when I do use panels and the battery. I will also have an inline fuse for the output for the battery.

Thanks again,
