Only on one of my units does the Grid Graph go the wrong way .
I assume this is a VRM BUG
Hi @DafyddHirst,
Not a bug, but an often misunderstood feature.
When there is both import and export, the graph changes to make it clearer which is which.
Export is to the left of the centre line, import is to the right.
When there is no export, only import, the graph will be the same direction as all the others.
Then why does not the same rule apply to the battery graph (when the current goes in or out)?
The battery graph shows state of charge between 0% and 100%, not current flow.
I use ESS, with feed-in disabled.
Still, sometimes the Grid (AC In) power graph is horizontal (even when there are brief moments when the power is with minus sign), other times it is vertical.
Seems random.
Thanks @Guy Stewart (Victron Community Manager) No ESS and export to grid disabled
No Solar array attached
This is just Import .... if its exporting with export disabled Id be very worried!!
There is no load on the unit just on trickle charge.
any more ideas?
Im sure it was the correct way round yesterday.
Thanks
The detection might need a tweak then, I will let the VRM team know.
It will flip around again tomorrow when that small green section in the middle is off the chart range (24 hours).
Additional resources still need to be added for this topic
