Installing a charge controller 75 /15

Hi, I’m installing a solar controller 75/15...

a little tight for space...can i install it at 90 degrees so the fuse is on the left side or does it have to be sited the right way up with writing horizontal?

Hi @Rusty Noggin,

the manual clearly says to mount vertically with the power terminals facing downwards. And in a well ventilated area.

If you want to keep your warranty, then you have to follow the installation instructions.

I would say it depends on PV power you will put on it.

For instance, if you will use only one 100W panel, it should not get that hot.

I did read instructions... as I didn’t see any vents I thought I would be ok..

my panel is a 100w
