I just realised that this awaited feature is now available. Great !
But, this is only by coming on this board, while installing a new Multiplus and thus checking the cccx manual that I found a reply to another question mentioning another cccx web server dedicated function. Then I tried to connect to the cccx ip on port 80 to find the console.
So here is the question : is this documented somewhere and how to be kept informed of new software feature.

OK, I added the blog to my RSS aggregator.
But still, I can't figure out when the web console was released on the CCGX ! No mention of it in the online manual and the FAQ is still stating that the web server will eventually be able to offer some VRM like feature.
Maybe that console is there for long and I didn't try to reach it before…
Remote console was added in version 1.30 back in December 2015.

Well, "remote console" is ambiguous to me. I knew of remote console from the VRM Website which is cool and useful when away. But the display of a console from direct connection to the web server running in the CCGX, let's call it "local remote console" was unknown to me. I still can find no mention of it in any manual or FAQ.
And it is very useful because it's a faster update display, particularly when on local network.
Well, yesterday night I didn't follow the link above to 1.30 release notes. I just did now and see that both console where added in that release !
That's too bad that I had missed this useful tool for more than one year since I installed the CCGX.
Definitely this should be documented in the ccgx manual and FAQ.
The manual was updated at the time to reflect the changes. The Victron guys are pretty hot on this sort of thing. Their version contols are very good too!

The information is all there and usually updated rather promptly.
It's like mainstream news if you don't watch it or read newspapers then you won't know whats going on in the world. If you don't call your friends then you won't know how they're doing.
There is constant development work being carried out on the CCGX especially, so it's worth keeping an eye on the links I've posted if you're interested in finding out about new features.
OK then. That is the manual I was referring to and I read it several times.
But, you are right, searching for "remote console" show the setting "Enable on LAN". I missed it when I bought my CCGX last year, since the manual was already mentioning this setting.
