How to re-enable BLE on Smart Lithium


The previous owner has disabled BT on the Smart LiFePO4 battery’s on my boat. I want to re-enable BT.

According to Firmware v1.20 it is now possible re-enable Bluetooth again.

Has anyone tried this?

Anyone knows which specific pin of the BLE module that has to be connected to the module shield for 5 seconds inorder to re-enable Bluetooth?

In the v1.20 text : See the manual for more detailed information.

I have not been able to find this manual. Has anyone else ?

Does somewone know which Pin of BLE module has to be connected to the module shield for re-enable BLE again?

  • Added ability to re-enable BLE again after it was disabled by the user. To re-enable BLE, a specific pin of the BLE module has to be connected to the module shield for 5 seconds. Note that the cover of the battery has to be opened to re-enable BLE. This can damage the battery housing. See the manual for more detailed information.

For IT-Seyurity reasons after the Battery arrived, we made an firmware update (from 1.21 to 1.25), set it to factory default to be save that no one before changes settings and switch Bluetooth OFF.
