Good day, i have 2 victron 220A gel batteries but very limited space, can i put one battery on top of the other or is it best so put them side by side at the same height ? Thanks !

I don't think the electrons are bothered very much by gravity or position so long as they're properly wired, but the weight of the battery falling off would concern me!
If a boat, depends on the type. You might wish for a low centre of gravity, the boat may list???
