Proper installation

I have 16 LifePO4 100ah batteries installed as 4 sets of 4 cabled to an inverter/charger. They are wired in series and then in parallel to the load. They‘re wired like your figure 9 in the quick installation.guide. (48 volt 400 amp total). My BMV-700 monitor is installed on one set of 4. Should the load/charge wire also be extended to the other 3 sets? As in your figure 9 all four sets are interconnected and all four sets have cabling to the inverter charger. Can I get an accurate reading on % of charge by having the monitor only attached to one set of four?

What quick installation.guide do you mean?
Can you draw a schematic how you wired your system?

If you have 16 cells of 100Ah each the result of connecting them into 48V battery will be 100Ah capacity not 400Ah.

Only connecting them into 12V pack will result in 400Ah capacity.

You will only measure the current flow of the top row of batteries.

Now you say that you have 16 12v 100Ah batteries.

Before you said that you have 16 LFP 100Ah batteries.

You have 48v 400Ah battery.

From your drawing I cannot see where is the shunt connected.
