Orientation of inverter installation

We need to replace our inverter. The Victron 12/3000/120 would suit our needs nicely. My dilemma is the height. Do these need to be installed vertically, or can they be installed horizontal??

It can be mounted horizontally on its back (with the switch and LEDs facing up). Please ensure that adequate cooling provided.

Where does it say it can be mounted on its back? Are your interpreting Horizontally as


"It can be mounted horizontally on its back (with the switch and LEDs facing up)"
