on my boat the multi is charging a life po4 200 amps battery bank.the charge comes from a 1000 watt constant rpm generator. I like to cycle the battery bank between 80% and 25% state of charge. there seems to be no way to set the multi so it does bulk charge with constant current until the battery bank reaches 80% state of charge and than stops charging.the voltage rises until it reaches the set absorbtion voltage and than tapers off . I can set the maximum charge current in the victron connect software but I can.t interfere with the bulk time. since the generator is not a modern inverter type that lowers the rpm when there is less demand it means that there is a lot of fuel wasted is there any way I can set up the multi so it charges more like an engine alternator does.
