Multiplus II turns Output1 off, when battery is switched off.

Hello,

why is the Multiplus II (ESS Mode) turning off Output 1, when I switch off the battery (Pylontech) and the Grid is NOT down?

Hi Ralph

It does this because ess program needs the battery to work properly.

The Multiplus is an inverter charger not an ac coupled pv inverter.

If you don't want your batteries to discharge with ess, use the gx and tell the system to keep batteries charged and it will try use solar as much as possible balanced with the grid.

but why is the MP II not passing through the voltage from input (AC) side?
