I have a multiplus 24/3000 and when the generator comes on (relay in the mppt) and the inverter switches from inverting to charging, i get a power surge through they system (LED lights get bright for a second) - now this pulse in power is turning off my generator. Help!
Try turning off the UPS selection by using VE Configure and see if this helps you. you will need a MK3 to do this adjustment if you do not have a GX device and a connection to the vrm,
There is always a small switch over when the inverter changes from gen to inverter and vice versa,
