Power assist

Hi

I have a system that requires the multiplus to have Ac out only when there is shore power (Ac in) And use the powers assist

The shore power is limited to 10 amps and the system has very short spikes of 15 amps And generally runs at around 6.5 amps so will charge the lithium battery in between spikes

Is there an assistant that can manage this or would the use of a relay be required.

Regards

Grant

you just need to adjust the current limit in the Multiplus to 10 amps this is done with a MK3 and the victron VE configure program or you can add a Victron DMC unit which is a remote switch and Knobe

Hi , yes but I only want the Ac out to be on when Ac in is present, so the system can’t run on the batteries, and only are only used to power assist.

Hi @IandDIndustries

you can set the unit to 'charge only' this way it will only power up when AC is present on input.

Plus set a 10A input current limit.
