Boat setup : Solar priority setup

Hello everyone,

I'm looking to setup our boat to use solar power when enough, then AC if plugged, then battery.

We got 1300W Solar and should be enough for must usages, but whatever settings I tried it's always using shore power first. We pay shore power at the Kw so I'm trying to prioritize self-consumption while keeping the batteries at 100% SOC (and why consume energy even if free when sun is feeding the panels?).

Devices :

Quattro 12-5000 VA
2x MPPT 150/60
Shunt 1000A
Color Control GX

2x 250 Ah LifePo4 Batteries "powerbrick" with integrated BMS ( That I dont know how to monitor separately )

Also tried using assistants on the quattro ( Self consumption hub-2 v3 ) but doesn't seem to do what I wanted.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked this KB out https://www.victronenergy.com/live/dc_coupling:prioritize_solar this basically is along the lines you are looking at. It suggests you use Hub -1. If you look at the Assistants Hub 1 is used for DC connected Solar array ie through your mppt.

Hub -3 is normally used with PV inverters ie fronius or similar inverters.

Makes sense ! Trying it right now, got a deprecation notice saying that I should use ESS instead, but trying this first, seems to do exactly what I'm trying to achieve.
