brand new Quattro 48-15000 smell like hot pc board is that normal

brand new Quattro 48-15000 smell like hot pc board even in charging mode. Is that normal

the smell is coming from the capacitor bank just behind the cpu on the left side

I have a small MultiPlus and I have noticed a smell similar to what you describe coming from the insulation of the transformer leads. This insulation is of glass fiber, so somilar to FR4.
The smell is there even when cold. I don't think it is anything to worry about and will most likely dissipate over time.

Thanks for replying. after looking more it smells like a capacitor that blow up

Oh, that is a bad smell.
Obviously it's difficult to exactly describe a smell in writing. Can you see any burst capacitors?
