MPPT 100/20 Load output AES - how should it work?

I'm trying to understand how the Load Output AES mode should work.

It's configured it as can be seen in the screenshot.

I thought it works like this:

If on condition ist met (V>13.50) the load is switched on for 32 minutes.

After 32 minutes the conditions are checked again and if the Off condition is met (V<13,35), the load output is being switched off, else it stays on.

But this is what it actually does:

The load output is being turned on after 2 minutes > 13.50V and turned off after two minutes <13.35V.

Is this how it should work?

If so, what exactly is the automatic energy selector timer for?

1) If battery Voltage is above 13.50V then Load Output switches on after a 2 minute delay. It will not switch off as long as battery Voltage is more than 13.50V.

2) If battery Voltage falls into the range 13.35V - 13.50V then the Load Output will remain on but will switch off after 34 minutes. Notice the 2 minute delay after the condition is met is included here.

3) If the battery Voltage rises again above 13.50V then the Load Output remains on and the 32 minute timer is cancelled.
However, if the battery Voltage goes below of 13.35V within the 32 minutes time period then it will turn off after a 2 minutes delay. Notice sooner than the 32 minute timer becuase the battery Voltage is on the low side of the Voltage range condition.

4) If battery Voltage rises again into the range 13.35V -13.50V then the Load Output will remain off.

5) If battery Voltage rises above 13.50V then Load Output will switch on after 2 minutes.

After giving it some further thought I figured the timer probably starts when the voltage is dropping below the high voltage level and cuts the load after the the specified minutes.

The low voltage limit is independent of the timer, two minutes after the voltage drops below it, the load is being disconnected.
