Orion and Sealed lead batteries

Hi everyone.

I have connected my Orion 12/12 30a to my car/fridge setup and was wondering if anyone can give me some tips for the setup of the battery in the settings menu.

Battery is a Supersafe SBS190F sealed lead battery. Do I select the AGM Algorithm?

And should I adjust the float and absorbtion rate ect?
sorry I am new to all this and really don’t want to cook my batteries.

thanks in advance

Caspa

You have to ask this your battery supplier/the manufacturer.
The datasheet only gives you the float voltage (2.29V per cell @ 20°C -> 13,74V).
But there is nothing about the absorption voltage.

Hi @Caspa24

This looks like the full datasheet: http://www.light-corp.cn/pdf/battery/AS-SBS-EON-OGH-002_0510.pdf

2.4V/cell @ 20C = 14.4V for Absorb. The Victron is probably at 25C, so maybe 14.2V Absorb and 13.6V Float would be a good start point. 14.7 Abs is too high, especially for a 2013 model.. I'd pick a soft preset, and adjust the targets as you wish.

Oh, you found it.
I was also looking for a proper datasheet but couldn't find it.
